Tonight the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos kick off the 2013 NFL season in a rematch of their epic double overtime Divisional Playoff game won by the eventual champion Ravens. Some significant faces are missing; one (Elvis Dumervil) has changed sides, but this still looks on paper to be a really compelling opener.
Because of a baseball game tonight in Baltimore, the Ravens are the first defending champion since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ten years ago to not host the first game of the year. Instead their reward for winning the championship is going on the road to one of the toughest venues in the league for visitors. There waits a team that had the best record in the AFC last year hungry to avenge a bitter loss.
The normal rules apply for game threads. Keep it clean, and do not ask for or post links to illegal broadcasts of the game, although with the game on national television there should be a need for neither.
