The first half went quite well for the Jets. New York leads the Buffalo Bills 17-6 at halftime.
The defense has not looked bad so far in 2013, but it might have put together its best half of the young season. E.J. Manuel is only 5 for 10 for 53 yards. He has had nowhere to go with the ball for most of the first half.
The big story for the Jets is their ability to make big plays in the passing game consistently perhaps for the first time since Buffalo's last visit to the Meadowlands in last season's opener. Stephen Hill was the biggest offensive star for New York, making up in a big way for his poor performance last week in New England. He is already over 100 receiving yards and has a 51 yard touchdown reception.
