According to NY Daily News reporter, and fan favorite, Manish Mehta, WR Vidal Hazelton suffered an undisclosed leg injury in practice yesterday:

While TheJetsBlog.com 's Jake Steinberg is reporting a more serious prognosis:
#Jets WR Vidal Hazelton is out for the season with a torn ACL suffered in practice this morning. #nyj

Steinberg is a pretty reputable source and knows people within the Jets organization. While Hazelton was likely not to see time as a starter, he reportedly was having a very good camp. With the concerns of Holmes' injury and Edward's lingering knee issue, it's a good idea to have as much depth at the WR position as possible. So it is disappointing to see a young player trying to earn a roster spot suffer an injury like this.
Hazelton was an undrafted free agent signed by the an San Diego Chargers in 2011. He was also on the practice squads of the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals.
