Good morning, Gang Green Gangsters!  Here are your daily New York Jets links for this Saturday...

The hammer didn't take long to fall, as Dan Carpenter was one of the first cuts by the Jets.  You thought you saw the last of Nick Folk, but apparently he nailed the job.  I hope we don't get screwed by this.

Ryan Spadola has taken advantage of his opportunities and has made the team.

Rex Ryan trolls the media by saying he might not declare a starting quarterback at all.  I guess we're going to have to like, watch the game and stuff.

Geno Smith is probably going to start the first game though.

Willie Colon spoke about Mark Sanchez, about the recently released Stephen Peterman, and the concussion settlement.  He should totally make his own fragrance: smell like Willie, with Willie Cologne.

The Jets Press takes a closer look at how Matt Simms played.  Simms looks like a gamer.

The Jets running backs are at the bottom of SI's list.

The Jets as a team are at the bottom of SI's list.

Joe McKnight is headed to Green Bay to work out for the Packers.

Darrelle Revis working hard on his comeback.

Baltimore Ravens TE Dennis Pitta could still come back this season. And I was about ready to call it a wrap.

National Football Post: Marcus Trufant has been let go by the Jaguars.

SI: Cincinnati Bengals DE DeQuin Evans has been suspended for PEDs.

Our roster cutdown discussion thread is here.

Here are yesterday's links, in case you missed them.

Have a great day, everyone.  And welcome to Spatula City!!!
