NFL Hall of Fame 2013 Open Thread

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2013 will be inducted in Canton, Ohio.

Those being honored are:

Larry Allen

Cris Carter

Curley Culp

Jonathan Ogden

Bill Parcells

Dave Robinson

Warren Sapp

Parcells will undoubtedly draw the interest of Jets fans. He was the head coach of the team from 1997 to 1999 and general manager from 1997 to 2000. Under Parcells' guidance, the Jets went from league doormat to within a game of the Super Bowl. Carter's speech should be interesting. He was passed over by the voters a few times. Recently, the guys who have had to wait have had some of the most memorable speeches. He also overcame personal demons in his career to make it. Robinson played on Vince Lombardi's Packers teams so his speech will be one to watch if you want a greater appreciation for the history of the game of football and the NFL.
