Quinton Coples left the second preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a leg injury, but it doesn't seem to be particularly bad. There has been very little information coming out from the team, but Seth Walder had this to report:
Sheldon Richardson didn't know details of Coples' injury but told me Q told him he'd be fine. #nyj

Rex Ryan didn't provide much information either, but it seems to be relatively minor. Coples was walking up and down the sideline with a bit of a limp after his injury, which indicates it wasn't a bad hit. Let's hope he rests up quickly and isn't affected for the regular season. Once we have more information, we'll be sure to pass it along.
Edit: ESPN is apparently saying he has a hairline fracture and may be out 3-4 weeks. There has been no confirmation or word from the team if this is true.
Edit 2: Everybody panic. Coples will likely return after week two, following the game against the New England Patriots.
Quinton Coples has a hairline fracture of his ankle. He will undergo a 3-4 week rehab. No surgery, I'm told #nyj
