According to Adam Schefter:
After meeting with Raiders this week, Browns free-agent WR Josh Cribbs is flying to New York to meet with Jets, per source.

There are reports that Cribbs' knee is healthy and that he passed a physical with the Raiders, who also extended him a contract. There are reportedly four teams interested in Cribbs at this point, with the Jets being one of them. Cribbs would primarily come to the team as a returner but would also be able to compete for a spot as a wide receiver. Considering the talent on the team, he should have no issue winning the fourth receiver position at the least and would likely battle with Stephen Hill for the #2 role as well.
The Jets aren't in much of a position to get into a bidding war, but at the right price, Cribbs could be an excellent addition to a team slowly creating a much more dynamic offense.
