PFT reports Josh Cribbs has signed with the Raiders. He had been on the Jets' radar.
Josh Cribbs has signed with the Raiders, per source with knowledge of the situation.

The Jets figured to be a long shot as there is little money to spend. Cribbs is still one of the top return men in the game. He was top six in both kickoff and punt return average in 2012.
If nothing else, he would have provided the Jets a big upgrade in the punt return game, replacing Jeremy Kerley's automatic fair catches. This is a Jets team that seems to lack the offensive talent to string together long drives so a return guy who can make big plays and create short fields would be a real asset.
The pickings were slim on the free agent market, and they just got slimmer. Cribbs was one of the few out there who could have been a positive.
