According to Brian McIntyre:
New on Shutdown Corner: Jets clear $5.128 million in cap space by restructuring the contract of D'Brickashaw Ferguson sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shut…

Left Tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson has restructured his contract and saved the team $5.128 million in 2013 cap space. This might be if the team is trying to save some money so they can trade for Chris Ivory, which is what I suspect is happening. A new contract for Ivory may cost in the $2-3mil range, per year.
I suspect that, as a result of this transaction, we are about to see Chris Ivory become a New York Jet.
