Brian Costello says the Jets might end up with the 13th pick in this year's Draft and other picks in 2014 for Darrelle Revis.
Nothing finalized yet but source says Jets will get Bucs' 1st rd pick this year (13 overall), other picks probably will be in 2014. #NYJ

Costello is leaving some wiggle room so this compensation may or may not pan out.
We know a little bit more than we did before but still not much. The place those 2014 picks occupy will have a lot to say about how good or bad this deal looks at the end of the day. If the Bucs offered the Jets an option of a 2013 third rounder and a 2014 second rounder, the pick next year is the better option. It might require a bit of waiting, but it will eventually be next year. A second round pick is more valuable than a third round pick.
