Darrelle Revis to Get Physical With the Bucs

Adam Schefter reports the Jets are sending Darrelle Revis to get a physical and visit with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This would indicate the two sides have probably reached an agreement to a trade. Why else would the Jets allow Tampa Bay to look at their player? Now the Bucs will have to be all right with what they see and work out a contract extension with Revis.

There are still plenty of opportunities for this thing to blow up due to the many complications that still exist, but it seems as though we have reached the beginning of the end when it comes to these trade talks. The smart money would seem to be on Revis covering Santonio Holmes in the opener.
