Conor Orr says the Jets have not invited Barkevious Mingo for a visit, but that is no reason to assume he is off the table when the Jets pick at 9.
Few asked about this: #Jets have not scheduled a pre-draft visit w/ Barkevious Mingo but that's not neccesarily an indicator of interest

A lot of pre-draft visits are for medical checkups, further questions. #Jets were at Mingo's pro day. Definitely an option for them at No. 9

It could also be that the Jets love Mingo and are trying to throw other teams that might trade up off the scent. We don't know, and unless the Jets pick Mingo, we probably never will.
For what little it matters, Mingo is my preferred choice should the Jets opt for an outside linebacker in the first round. (Cue hundreds of readers now praying the Jets do not take Mingo.)
