Enough with this guard in the top 10, Read here for why

I get it, Chance Warmack is a great player. The kid is a straight mauler in the run game and holds up very well in pass protection. I also get the argument about how great we ran the ball with Faneca and Moore back in 09. But what was our record in 09? 9-7, we barely snuck into the playoffs. then in 2010 we got holmes and started to throw the ball around more and we were 11-5 and i witnessed one of the best jets seasons of my life. We need impact players on offense and defense. Look at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last year, they heavily paid for two all-pro caliber guards in Davin Joseph and Carl Nicks. Both ended up on IR and did that really hurt Doug Martins performance? he ran for 200+ a few weeks later (i know it was the raiders) and ended up with a pro bowl caliber season mostly behind 2 "backup guards" how is this possible!?

So my point is, not to neglect the offensive line, we need another starting guard and possibly another guard who can play for/when Colon gets injured. But is there really that much of a difference between an "elite" guard and a good mauler like Warford in the 2nd? or Carl Nicks and Tampas backup? rather than pass on an elite talent like Cordarrelle Patterson, Dion Jordan,or KeKe Mingo? . if Vincent Jackson goes down for the Bucs do you think they continue their passing offense production? both of their "cant miss guards went down and they still met and even exceeded their rushing production. So lets stop with this warmack talk please, lets grab a difference maker that people have to game plan for
