New York Jets to Work Out Kyle Frazier

Kristian Dyer reports the Jets are going to work out Monmouth University quarterback Kyle Frazier.

Source: Jets will have a private workout with Monmouth QB Kyle Frazier.

Monmouth is the alma mater of Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin.

Frazier was a four year starter at Monmouth. His senior year was his best, where he completed over two-thirds of his passes with 17 touchdowns against 10 interceptions. He averaged 6.7 yards per attempt. Over the course of his career, he completed 63.3% of his passes with 40 touchdowns and 25 interceptions. His career college average was 6.7 yards per attempt.

This is an example of leaving no stone unturned. What are the odds of Frazier being the answer at quarterback? They are pretty small. When you are dealing with a small school prospect, that guy played against inferior competition. You want to see that guy post astronomical numbers. You want to see that he was so good that he dominated. Frazier's production was very run of the mill.

It can't hurt to look, though.
