SB Nation's latest mock draft has the Jets grabbing Jarvis Jones from Georgia.
The run on rush linebackers continues with the Jets, who are desperate to upgrade the position. Jarvis Jones should check out medically, and if he does, he is a top 10 pick. He doesn't quite have the length or burst that Jordan and Mingo show, but he is a productive player with a high motor.
Luke Joeckel, Geno Smith, Sheldon Richardson, Eric Fisher, Ziggy Ansah, Dee Milliner, Barkevious Mingo, and Dion Jordan went with the first eight picks.
As this notes, this has a lot to do with Jones' medical condition. It could easily be a situation where ten different doctors have ten different opinions.
The signing of Antwan Barnes will probably not make the Jets much less likely to go outside linebacker at 9. Barnes has largely been a situational player in his career. Even if we were to say he is a starter, there is still a pretty big hole on the other side.
