Manish Mehta says the Jets will have Rams free agent wide receiver Brandon Gibson in for a visit tomorrow.
Jets wasting little time to bring in free agents. WR Brandon Gibson will visit Florham Park tomorrow, per sources.

After a brief rookie stint with the Eagles, Gibson has spent his last four years with the Rams. He set career highs in 2012 with 51 catches, 691 yards, and 5 touchdowns. At 6'0" and 205 pounds, Gibson is not a very big target. He isn't particularly fast either. He profiles as a backup kind of player. He might be a replacement for Chaz Schilens as the number four receiver or an indication the new regime does not think much of Stephen Hill and feels Hill needs to be pushed.
I said this before, but I'm lukewarm on this. I don't think Gibson has much upside beyond his production this year. There isn't really much to his game that jumps out to me. There's no harm in looking, though.
