Darrelle Revis Rumors: Philadelphia Eagles To Make Offer?

Is the New York Jet about to become a Philadelphia Eagle?

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, there are rumors that the Philadelphia Eagles will make an offer for cornerback Darrelle Revis. In an article, McLane says that there are reports that General Manager Howie Roseman is crunching the numbers in an effort to make a deal for Revis. McLane notes that the Eagles have the draft picks (eight, including one from each round and a likely seventh round compensatory pick), salary cap space (~$18m), and the space in the secondary (as Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is a free agent).

McLane does go on to say others are doubting the rumors, but here we are, with the best lead we have. What do you think? We've discussed, at length, different scenarios for a Revis trade and what the terms would be. Could Nick Foles be in the discussion? After all, he doesn't fit Chip Kelly's system. Possibly Bryce Brown? If a trade consisted of, say, a first, a third, and Foles, would you be interested?
