Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie might have suffered a concussion against the Raiders per Kristian Dyer.
"I think he’s going to be in that concussion protocol and things. He felt better today, so that’s a positive thing," head coach Rex Ryan said. "I think, as explained to me, it’s a real positive sign that he improved from that point in the game."
It might be a good idea for the Jets to sit Cromartie down. He is dealing with other physical ailments that seem prevent him from being productive out there. It is nice that Cromartie is willing to play hurt, but the coaches need to step in at some point and see he is hurting the team. The Jets would probably be better with Cromartie healing so perhaps they can get him healthy for the last two games of the season.
Depending on the results, the decision might be taken out of the Jets' hands.
