Earlier today we talked about the report the Jets were going to sign return man Darius Reynaud. The team made it official. The Jets cleared a roster spot by putting Josh Cribbs on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
We have signed veteran FA KR Darius Reynaud to our active roster. We have also placed WR-KR Josh Cribbs (shoulder) on Injured Reserve.

The loss of Cribbs is a tough one for the Jets. He brought credibility to the return game, particularly as a punt returner. He was also a good trigger man for the Wildcat as a runner and a passer. The Wildcat is one of the few things the Jets have been doing on offense lately to generate even modest success.
Cribbs was not a game-changer, but anybody moderately productive at producing yardage is worth something to this team at this point in time.
