Let's relive the glory days!

Hey folks! This was, again, one of those weeks where if I could, I'd GIF the entire game, glue it to my eyeballs, and be happy if that was the only thing I ever watched again. In any case, here are four plays, two offense, two defense, that summarized the game.

First of all, notice that Damon Harrison forces Drew Brees to step up. Why? Because he is a grown man. Other than that, this is your standard base defense. At one point, Dawan Landry has his hands on the receiver's back, but he never pushes him, never wraps his arm around him, and just gets between the receiver and the ball. Heads up play by Demario Davis to locate the ball.

There are a few things noteworthy on this play. First of all, Tommy Bohanon stood his dude straight up. Second of all, Chris Ivory runs like every step is the most important step in his life, and he keeps those legs churning. Third of all, Stephen Hill is a phenomenal blocker. This play doesn't happen if it's Chaz Schilens blocking there.

At this point, my friend Tom started shouting, "WHO THE HECK IS GREG SALAS?," over and over. This is probably the best play that Brian Winters had all game. But most importantly, watch Geno Smith audible into the perfect hot route to beat the blitz. That is what we need to see from him, and he's gotten better and better at it each week.
