The Jets are 3-2. Gang Green upset the Falcons tonight in the Georgia Dome 30-28. For the second time this year, a game came down to a last second field goal. For the second time, Nick Folk delivered. It was really a very nice night for the Jets all around. The offense sure came to play. The unit was very effective. Geno Smith threw 3 touchdowns and led the game-winning drive with NO turnovers. Special teams made big plays, and the defense was even more effective than the stats indicated.
Few people thought the Jets were winning this one. Now they are over .500, and they have the winless Steelers next. A 4-2 start looks like a real possibility. The other three teams in the AFC East all lost this weekend, and the New York Jets are just a game out of first place.
