New York Jets at Atlanta Falcons Game Thread

The Jets take their show on the road tonight for a Monday Night contest with the Falcons. Ironically enough, their last trip to Atlanta was also a Monday Night Football contest back in 2005.

This is a pretty important game for Gang Green. A win gets the good guys back over the .500 mark. With a date coming up against the winless Steelers, the odds of this team finishing the first half with at least a .500 record would be pretty good. The Jets might be set up for a surprising run. A loss would drop the Jets to 2-3.

This is going to be no easy task. The Falcons are very talented. They have one of the best home field advantages in the NFL. They are also desperate at 1-3. Don't let the record fool you either. Their three losses have been by 6, 4, and 7 respectively to teams that are a combined 12-3. This game is going to be a challenge. The Jets will have to earn it if they come out with a win.
