Today CBS has a doubleheader while FOX will show one game to each region. However, the New York area loses out on the CBS doubleheader. The Giants play at home in the early timeslot. NFL rules dictate that when a local team plays a home game, no other game may be shown.
If you live in the New York area, you will see:
Eagles at Giants early on FOX
Broncos at Cowboys late on CBS
New York really takes it on the chin today. Fans in this area get a battle of two bad teams. Meanwhile, in the same timeslot most of America will get two of the following games: Saints vs. Bears, Lions vs. Packers, Seahawks vs. Colts, Patriots vs. Bengals, Ravens vs. Dolphins, and Chiefs vs. Titans. If you have NFL Sunday Ticket or RedZone Channel, be thankful. Otherwise, consider going to a sports bar before 1:00 today.
The entire nation will see Texans at 49ers tonight on NBC, Chargers at Raiders tonight on NFL Network, and Jets at Falcons tomorrow on ESPN. You read that correctly. There is a second Sunday night game this week. Chargers-Raiders has been pushed back to 11:35 Eastern tonight. The Raiders' home stadium needed extra time to get ready because it has been hosting postseason baseball games this week so you have an extra game if you can't sleep or are really, really into the AFC West.
