Today FOX has a doubleheader while CBS will show one game to each region.
If you live in the New York area, you will see:
Redskins at Broncos late on FOX
If you were not aware, every week CBS and FOX combine to show three NFL games to each region. One network gets to show a game in both the early and late afternoon timeslots. The other only gets to show one game. Because CBS is only carrying one game to each region this week, very few parts of the country will see the Jets today despite this being a very intriguing game. Distribution is essentially limited to the New York and Cincinnati areas, the western part of New York State, central Ohio, southeast Indiana, central Kentucky, Jacksonville, and the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. The entire nation will see Packers at Vikings tonight on NBC and Seahawks at Rams tomorrow on ESPN.
