Week 5 NFL Power Rankings: Looking Through the Results

See where the Jets fell.

Wesley Hitt

Here are how some of the big media outlets rate the Jets relative to the rest of the league going into Week 5.

SB Nation (Ryan Van Bibber): 19 (-1)

Even when you're not butt fumbling, you're butt fumbling. To be fair, Geno Smith will be fine with experience and some additional talent around him.

ESPN: 22 (-4)

Geno Smith was sacked, lost a fumble, or threw an interception on eight of 40 drop-backs Sunday. Only the Giants (16) have more turnovers as a team than Smith (11) has this season.

FOX Sports (Brian Billick): 21 (-3)

I said it on Twitter last week: I think the Jets limp into their bye week with a 3-6 record.

Yahoo! (Shutdown Corner): 21 (+1)

They're not terrible, but they're not winning many road games this season.

CBS (Pete Prisco): 20 (-3)

At .500, they have done some good and some bad. That's the way it will be with a rookie quarterback.

CBS (Pat Kirwan): 25 (-8)

Rex Ryan probably has to win to keep his job but he's on the road with a rookie quarterback who looks lost at times.

New York Daily News: 22 (-3)

Geno the Gunslinger, not.

Where do you think the Jets should rank?
