Jason LaCanfora reports the Jets will interview Green Bay Packers Director of Football Operations John Dorsey for their general manager job.
Packers exec John Dorsey interviewing with Jets this weekend and has strong shot to get GM job with Andy Reid in KC
Dorsey has been in the Packers organization since 1984 all but a handful of years as a player, scout, and Director of College Scouting, a position he held for twelve years over two different stints. He took over as Director of Football Operations last year.
Dorsey's resume looks impressive. If you like the homegrown talent Green Bay has, Dorsey has played a big role in it. They took Aaron Rodgers even though Brett Favre was still on the team. That move alone has paid huge dividends. The Packers have surrounded Rodgers with plenty of talent through the Draft. Clay Matthews, B.J. Raji, Jordy Nelson, Jermichael Finley, and Randall Cobb are among the names.
