The Jets made an interesting roster move today releasing 2002 first round selection Bryan Thomas. Thomas had been with the Jets for 10 years, however he has struggled with injuries and is currently battling a Hamstring issue.
In a move to mirror this, the Jets signed Donnie Fletcher from the practise squad. As a veteran, Thomas will not go onto waivers, however any team is able to offer him a deal.
The likely situation is that the Jets re-sign Bryan Thomas on Monday morning, it seems as though they just want another cornerback for this game as Thomas was extremely doubtful for the game in Miami.
