Sometimes it's hard to pay attention to every player on the field during every snap of the game, just looking at the game tape I could'd tell you how many snaps Mark Sanchez had, or Stephen Hill or Santonio Holmes or any other player. Luckily we no longer need to as the NFL make this information available to us. So here are the % of plays each player was involved in during yesterdays game
100% 67/67 | Nick Mangold, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Matt Slauson, Austin Howard, Brandon Moore | Offense |
88% 60/67 | Mark Sanchez | Offense |
69% 47/67 | Shonn Greene | Offense |
65% 44/67 | Santonio Holmes | Offense |
50% 34/67 | Stephen Hill | Offense |
46% 31/67 | John Conner | Offense |
44% 30/67 | Jeff Cumberland, Chaz Schilens | Offense |
43% 29/67 | Dustin Keller | Offense |
34% 23/67 | Konrad Reuland | Offense |
32% 22/67 | Jeremy Kerley | Offense |
29% 20/67 | Jason Smith | Offense |
26% 18/67 | Bilal Powell | Offense |
15% 10/67 | Tim Tebow | Offense |
4% 3/67 | Joe McKnight | Offense |
Conclusion: We need to get Joe McKnight more involved in the game. That boy should be involved in more than 4% of the offensive snaps. Tebow wasn't involved much, but the Wildcat wasn't working...other days it will work and he'll be up to 30% or so. Kerley and Keller and Holmes to an extend have been hampered by some injuries, you would expect Keller to be higher once he reaches full fitness and Cumberlands and Reulands snap counts to decrease. Other than that there really aren't too many surprises, maybe like to see Stephen Hill involved a little more than 50% but that was his first game as a rookie.
If you guys like this and find it useful, I will get the snap counts up for defense and for special teams too.
