Even though it's only 11:00am, this background we're promoting today has me craving a cool beer and some Buffalo wings...umm.

Anyway, our newest wide receiver Antonio Cromartie already things he is the 2nd best receiver on the Jets roster behind Santonio Holmes, speaking to ESPN First Take:

"I think I'd put myself as second," Cromartie said on "ESPN First Take" on Tuesday. "I haven't really played it in the past four or five years, but I can put myself as the second just with raw ability and talent going out there, I think, me separating and being a more physical guy out there on the outside."

Now I have a lot of time for Cromartie, but one rep a receiver does not make. If we are going on raw ability, talent, speed and Physicality, you are putting Stephen Hill up there in 2nd. I know a little confidence is good for everyone and Cromartie is having a lot of fun with his new role (well it's not exactly a new role).

However Cromartie did confess that Stephen Hill can "Get down the field", which probably comes from the fact he got burned by Hill on a corner route on Saturday. Cromartie mentioned that he can run every route in the route tree, even though he has only taken one rep at practise and admitted he had not played the position in 4-5 years.

Hey, why not have a little bit of confidence? maybe he can turn up in a passing pattern this year and really confuse the opposing defensive coordinator.
