Jets Hire Aaron Glenn As A Personnel Scout

Little tidbit of news here, but the Jets have hired former pro bowler Aaron Glenn as a scout today:

Former Jets CB Aaron Glenn has been hired by the team as a personnel scout. Glenn was drafted by the Jets in the first round of the 1994 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M. He spent eight years in New York and was a three-time Pro Bowl selection. Glenn also spent time with the Texans, Cowboys and Saints

I have some really fond memories of Glenn as a Jet, probably my favourite cornerback. 24 interceptions in 8 years with the Jets, two pro bowl appearances as a Jet, the other coming with the Texans in 2002. Glenn has held the position of General Manager with the Houston Stallions of the Texas Lone Star Football League, so he knows Texas extremely well, having played college and pro football there. Texas is a hotbed of talent, so having a man in the know on the ground there is never a bad thing.

Im just happy to have Aaron back in the franchise.
