Let me preface this whole story with; I would be absolutely amazed if we offered a package for Tim Tebow
However according to an ESPN source, the New York Jets have either had internal discussions or made contact with the Denver Bronco's about the possibility of trading for Tim Tebow:
Teams that have discussed a trade for quarterback Tim Tebow, either internally or with the Denver Broncos, include the Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
One league source categorized the Jets as "a long shot."
Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum refused to comment Monday when asked about Tebow on "The Michael Kay Show" on ESPN1050 in New York.
I firmly believe that this "interest" is a Mike T "Let's not leave any stone unturned" process rather than genuine interest. Well that is unless they plan to turn him into a Tight End. We all know that Mark Sanchez has just been confirmed as the Jets starter for the next two years (contractually) and well Tebow isn't exactly a top notch QB. He sells a lot of jersey's, he has great leadership ability and has a ton of heart, the last two aspects being questioned in Mark Sanchez.
If we could just trade for his leadership to be implemented in Mark Sanchez, I would take it.
What do you make of this Gang Green Nation? Tebow will end up in Jacksonville or Miami without a doubt in my opinion.
