Here is the final entry in my 2011 NFL preview.
Green Bay Packers
Normally I roll my eyes when I see people predict the defending champion to win it all again. It is the easy pick. This time, I think those people might be onto something. The night of the Super Bowl, Steve Young on ESPN compared Green Bay's title to the Cowboys in 1992, a young team a year ahead of schedule. It seems apt. This is a team likely to compete for the Lombardi Trophy for years to come.
The scary thing is how many guys they get off injured reserve this year. One could argue they had one of the best offseasons in the league just from getting players like Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley back.
They have a top five quarterback. They have playmakers all over the defense. They are well coached on both sides of the ball. Until further notice, the championship runs through Green Bay this season.
