As expected, the voting on GGN for the boldest Jets fan was a landslide in favor of Fireman Ed Anzalone.
He is perhaps the most famous fan of the team. A retired New York Firefighter, Fireman Ed is known for his trademark Jets firefighter hat and Bruce Harper jersey worn at Jets home games. He became well known for leading the team's now trademark "J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!" chant from Section 136 in the old stadium. He was the Jets inductee into the Hall of Fans when the Pro Football Hall of Fame inducted one fan from each team in 1999.
Believe it or not, Fireman Ed actually started as a Dolphins fan when he was a kid. He finally came to his senses. Let this serve as a lesson. There is hope for everybody. The Miami Dolphins fan in your life still has time for salvation. It is never too late.
