"All systems are a go," Sanchez said on "The Michael Kay Show" on 1050 ESPN Radio. "Our training staff is awesome. They've got me feeling great already. I'm ready to practice."
Kay asked if Sanchez would be ready for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Sanchez said, "No question."
The Jets clearly need to reduce the number of shots Sanchez takes. This one in particular does not seem like a big issue. Football is a brutal game. After the first few weeks, everybody is playing with some pain somewhere. There is probably going to be something lingering for Mark for the rest of the season or at least until the bye in a few weeks. If the Jets lose Sunday, and Sanchez is not sharp, there will probably be another reason.
