Do not jump off the roof of your home, but Cimini reports Darrelle Revis is battling through some pain.
Darrelle Revis, who got the night off with the rest of the starters, said after the Jets' 24-14 loss to the Eagles that his injured hip is fine. Revis called it a "hip flexor" injury, saying it occurred Monday night against the Giants. It was announced Wednesday by Rex Ryan.
"I feel okay," Revis said. "I'll be all right. We're just going to monitor it. I mean, I can play. I'm 100 percent, it's just a little sore and bothering me a little bit."
The good news is Revis has plenty of time to heal. The first real game of the season is over a week away, and this does not sound serious at all. Football players inevitably pick up bumps and bruises along the way. It is part of the game. I am just in the camp that does not want to see Revis bothered by any sore body part.
