The Jets are home again this week, looking to go 2-0 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They last met the Jaguars in 2009 when Jacksonville went into the old stadium and handed the Jets a last second loss.
A rebuilt defense have Jaguars fans dreaming of a big year. They are also 1-0. From an objective standpoint, the Jets probably have the edge in this one, but anything can happen in the NFL.
With that said, this is a game the Jets should win and need to win if they want to spend time at home in the Playoffs. It is important to bank as many wins as possible early against clubs that figure to be lesser competition. Gang Green does not want to have to make up games once the schedule starts turning tougher in a few weeks.
