My questioning of Alfie of Big Cat Country continues with one about how much of Maurice Jones-Drew we can expect to see today after Jones-Drew saw time on the bench late in the opener against the Titans, which he was less than pleased about in his postgame press conference.
The Jaguars limited Maurice-Jones Drew’s carries last week. Is that the plan again? How many carries can we expect?
I would expect Jones-Drew to get around 20-25 carries again this week, but I'm not sure if the team plans to limit him like they did against the Titans. Jones-Drew was particularly upset after the game about it, but I think that had more to do with the fact that he was give 21 of his 24 carries before half time, then watched the most of the rest of the game on the sideline. If his carries are to be limited this week, I'd like to think the team will spread them out more evenly.
