Tonight we clear the final hurdle standing in the way of real football, the last preseason game. The Jets take on the Eagles in their annual battle of the B, C, and D teams. Do not expect to see any big names out there. If you do see them, they will be gone soon to avoid any risk of injury prior to games kicking off for real next weekend.
This game has a degree of interest for two reasons. The first is players are battling for their careers, trying to do something to stand out to the coaches that will result in a roster spot. The second is we will get a good look at certain players who might be asked to step in on a moment's notice and play a big role for the Jets at some point this season.
