A GGN post appeared this morning expressing concern over the state of the offensive line in part because of Brandon Moore's status on the PUP list. Right on cue, the Jets activated the right guard today.
Moore, who served as the team’s union rep during the lockout, was relegated to a T-shirt and shorts for most of camp while Rob Turner and Vladimir Ducasse filled in. Though, he maintained throughout that he was ahead of schedule in the rehabilitation process.
This is surely some good news. Moore is an extremely valuable component on the offensive line. I am not sure how important training camp and preseason are for a guy established like him. I just like the thought of him not being on the PUP list. Without Damien Woody, Moore becomes even more important this year. The Jets are probably not going to get the same production from the right tackle spot so they need to stay excellent elsewhere.
