Minnesota Vikings Looking at Braylon Edwards?

Braylon Edwards might have a nibble from Minnesota.

One of those suitors is the Minnesota Vikings, ESPN's John Clayton reports. The Vikings lost WR Sidney Rice in free agency so they could be on the look out for another receiver. Edwards makes as much sense as anyone on the market.

It is looking like a long shot that Braylon stays, and those odds will get even smaller if Minnesota gets involved. The Vikings have a need after losing Sidney Rice and money to spend that was earmarked for Rice. I think this would be a really good fit. After getting Donovan McNabb, the Vikings seem to be trying to catch lightning in a bottle. Edwards would also be a good replacement for Rice with his deep speed and leaping ability.

I think if they are not going to keep him, this would probably be a best case for the Jets. Keep him out of the AFC.
