Jason LaCanfora tweets that the Jets and Bills are vying for the services of Buffalo cornerback Drayton Florence.

The Bills and Jets are bidding for Buffalo DB Drayton Florence;

Florence is 30 years old. Our friend Brian Galliford of Buffalo Rumblings notes he was the best corner on the Bills in 2010. Buffalo gave up the third fewest passing yards in the league. That might be a bit skewed. The Bills were so bad against the run that there wasn't much of an incentive to throw, but Florence is a good player. He fits what the Jets do well. The book on him is that he's physical and a playmaker. The guy who plays across from Darrelle Revis is going to see a lot of action. He also will probably carry a cheaper price tag than Antonio Cromartie.

This leaves an interesting dilemma. Do the Jets give up hopes of their dream girl, Nnamdi Asomugha? Things would need to fall perfectly into place to land him. Maybe the less exciting guy is the way to go since he is here now.

Hat tip to Buffalo Rumblings.
