Robert Kraft's Wife Passes

Some sad news came yesterday from New England. Patriots owner Robert Kraft's wife passed away.

Myra Kraft held key positions in numerous charitable and community organizations.

She managed the Robert and Myra Kraft Family Foundation and was president of the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation, which contributed millions of dollars to charities in the United States and Israel.

In 1995, she became the first woman to chair the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, a position she held until 2002.

I obviously don't care much for his team, but I have always admired Kraft as an owner. He's a real fan, a former season ticket holder, who bought his favorite team and did everything possible to build it into a great franchise.

Condolences go out to the Kraft family at this difficult time. We may support different teams, but ultimately the things we share in common are more significant than any game could be.
