On behalf of the staff of Gang Green Nation, I would like to thank all of the men and women in our armed forces and those who came before them on this Memorial Day. I am sure we have some readers in the service.

We all owe you a debt of gratitude we will never be able to repay for keeping us safe and making incredible sacrifices to preserve the freedom and way of life so many have died to give us that we too frequently take for granted.

Our thanks also go out to the family, friends, and other loved ones of those in the military who are forced to have an empty place at the table on holidays and big occasions because of the commitments of the job.

If anybody has any good charities assisting veterans particularly dear to them, please feel free to link them in the comments section.
