The Broncos missed their pick, and I am making the selection for them. I am taking Rahim Moore, safety from UCLA. The league's 25th ranked pass defense needs a facelift in the secondary. Brian Dawkins and Renaldo Hill are both on the wrong side of 30. Neither is an impact player at this point of their respective careers. Moore has the potential to become a difference making ballhawk in Denver's defensive backfield for years to come. He is the best value at this point to improve the pass defense up in the Mile High City.
Denver has now added the best defensive tackle and the best safety in our Draft, a few big steps to fixing a very suspect defense.
