Some players showed up in Florham Park today.
Alternate player rep Brandon Moore, D’Brickashaw Ferguson, Mike DeVito, Jerricho Cotchery, Bart Scott and David Harris each spent 10-15 minutes inside the building before leaving. They were let through the security gate before Director of Football Administration Ari Nissim and Director of Player Development Dave Szott informed that they were free to roam the halls, but the trainer’s room and weight room were closed. Moore, rehabbing from off-season hip season, was told that trainer John Mellody, was at a meeting off-site. Cotchery, coming off back surgery, also wanted to access to the trainer’s room, but was denied.
It is good to hear the players are back. Presumably things will pick up and all access will be restored if the players win the appeal. Moore, Ferguson, and Devito were there to try and cash in on potential offseason workout bonuses that could be awaiting them.
