Top Ten New York Jets Draft Successes #8: Kyle Clifton

New, comment

Although never a highly decorated linebacker, Kyle Clifton, the Jets' 1984 third round pick out of TCU had a very productive career in green and white. Playing both inside and outside linebacker, Clifton totaled over 100 tackles in 9 different campaigns.

He was never a Pro Bowler and only made Second Team All Pro once, but Clifton was a valuable cog in the New York defense from the mid 1980's through the Bruce Coslet years.

He is our eighth top Jets Draft success. If Gang Green adds a linebacker like him this year, we should all be happy.
