Super Bowl XLV Game Thread

This is your thread for Super Bowl XLV. It is not one that will be easy to watch as our New York Jets fell a game short of it for the second straight season. It is still the last real NFL football we will get to watch until at least September. It should be an entertaining game. Both of these teams have aggressive, attacking defenses. The two defensive coordinators, Dick LeBeau and Dom Capers, are pioneers of the zone blitz. They also both have somewhat suspect offensive lines and elite quarterbacks adept at extending plays.

After finally doing a bit of study on this one, I am picking the Green Bay Packers. I think the most significant difference between the teams is the quality of cornerback play. Tramon Williams, Sam Shields, and Charles Woodson are much better than Pittsburgh's corners. The ability of coverage to hold is going to be important since both quarterbacks are again really good at extending plays.

I am taking the Packers. Which team do you like?
