Brandon Moore returned to practice today for the first time in two weeks.
Coach Rex Ryan's plan was for Moore to sit out Wednesday, be limited today and practice fully on Friday. Moore appears to be on track. His participation level will be listed later.
Moore played last week without practicing once so any fear he would not play was probably going to be overblown. It is still good to hear he is back and he is improving enough to work with his fellow linemates before the game. Vladmir Ducasse looked very good last week as an extra lineman, blocking tight end role, but it would have been difficult to imagine he or Caleb Schlauderaff stepping in and playing at the level Brandon provides. Against a team with some top notch pass rushers like the Philadelphia Eagles, having Moore in there is essential for the Jets to have consistent offensive success.
