Manish Mehta report despite his official status as questionable, LaDainian Tomlinson is not likely to suit up Sunday.
The Jets could be without running back LaDainian Tomlinson for the second straight game Sunday when they play the Bills at the Meadowlands. Tomlinson was listed as questionable for the must-win game with a left MCL sprain, but both the 32-year-old veteran and Rex Ryan did not seem optimistic about his chances of playing.
It might be good to get the best pass protecting running back out there considering how rattled Mark Sanchez has looked recently in the face of the pass rush. I do not think it will be essential this week with Buffalo struggling to get to the quarterback. This is once again likely to force the Jets to give Joe McKnight more offensive touches. That is a good thing. This week he could see time in his ideal role, as a speedy change up to the powerful Shonn Greene.
