RB LaDainian Tomlinson faced his former team last week and felt that the victory closed that chapter. LT is included in a Sports Illustrated story called "Pile on the Chargers" written by Damon Hack. Here is an excerpt:
Tomlinson who was rushed out of San Diego after nine stellar years because the team felt it was time to go in a different direction said, "I'd be lying if I said this didn't add some satisfaction."
Since joining the Jets, LT has taken on a role unfamiliar to him when he was with the Chargers: leading the team with fiery pregame speeches, an out-of-body experience for him. "That really never has been my personality to be that guy," Tomlinson says, "but sometimes you're called upon to be something for your team."
